A collection of smaller visual identity and logo projects.
Designed with Fishhook, Way City Church is a new church in Speedway, IN. When preparing for an official launch they needed an identity unique to them and in relation to Speedway.
The pastors' commitment to making a positive impact informed their vision "to live in Speedway as it is in heaven," referencing the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6:10: "Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." To them, this means creating a rhythm of relationship and servanthood with those around them.
The logo combines the concepts of the W letterform, a crown for the kingdom, intersecting lives, and roads (with an endearing not to Motor Speedway). Making the hashtag part of the logo was an intentional choice so that no matter what, the community would know that those representing the mark are #forspeedway.
Designed for a local church's summer ministry program. This program equips volunteers to provide a fun and safe environment for kids to play and learn in their own neighborhoods.
The church was looking for an identity that stood out with bright non-traditional color combinations and incorporated a "splash" since many of their games involve water.
The logo was designed to work as both a one-color and two-color mark along with two variations so that it would look sharp and legible whether used in photos and promotion materials or displayed on its own.
